Modular services, fixed fees, written deliverables
Every engagement below ends with a document you own. Fee ranges are indicative and confirmed in a scope letter before any work starts.
Export readiness audit
A forty-point review of whether your business can absorb an export order without breaking. We look at production capacity, unit economics, packaging, labelling, intellectual property, insurance, banking and the internal processes that will carry the paperwork.
- Product classification review (HS/Schedule B) with duty exposure per candidate market
- Capacity and lead-time stress test against a realistic first order
- Labelling and packaging gap analysis
- Restricted-party and end-use screening walkthrough
- Written report with a prioritised, costed action list
Typical duration: 2–3 weeks · Indicative fee: $2,400–$4,800

Market selection research
Choosing the wrong first market is the most expensive mistake a new exporter makes. We build a scored shortlist based on tariff treatment, demand data, competitor pricing, distribution structure, payment risk and the practical cost of servicing the market from your location.
- Three to five candidate markets researched in depth
- Applicable duty rates, quotas and trade-agreement preferences
- Retail and wholesale price benchmarking with local competitor examples
- Distribution map: who actually buys your category and how
- Scored matrix and a recommended sequence for market entry
Typical duration: 3–4 weeks · Indicative fee: $3,200–$6,500
Compliance & documentation
The unglamorous core of the firm. We build the document set for your shipment and the internal procedure that keeps it correct after we leave.
| Document | What we do |
|---|---|
| Commercial invoice | Template build, valuation and description wording review |
| Packing list | Structure, weights, marks and numbers convention |
| Certificate of origin | Origin determination and issuing-body guidance |
| EEI / AES filing | Data element mapping and filer responsibility review |
| Bill of lading / AWB | Consignee and notify-party review against payment terms |
| Certificates & permits | Category-specific requirements per destination market |
Typical duration: 2–6 weeks · Indicative fee: $1,800–$5,400

Logistics coordination
We select the right Incoterms® 2020 rule for your risk appetite, tender the freight to at least three providers, review the cargo insurance wording and write a shipment runbook your operations lead can follow line by line.
- Incoterms® selection and cost-responsibility mapping
- Forwarder and customs broker tender with a comparison sheet
- Cargo insurance review (Institute Cargo Clauses A/B/C)
- Packaging, palletisation and marking specification
- Shipment runbook and exception playbook
Indicative fee: $2,100–$4,200
Distributor & buyer search
A longlist built from trade data and category knowledge, narrowed by screening calls and reference checks with existing suppliers, then a plain-English review of the agreement you are being asked to sign.
- Longlist of 15–30 candidate partners with rationale
- Screening interviews and supplier reference checks
- Financial and reputational red-flag review
- Introduction support and meeting preparation
- Commercial review of exclusivity, term and termination clauses
Indicative fee: $3,800–$7,500
